Happy Birthday Bowie (updated!)

So today, January 8th is David Bowie's 60th birthday. 60 years old. It is hard to believe. Even harder to believe? It would also be Elvis Presley's 72nd birthday. Bowie and Presley...born on the same day. That seems incredible to me.

Top 10 David Bowie videos (yes, I am straying from my normal Top 5 list)

1. Loving The Alien (from 1984's Tonight)

2. Never Let Me Down (from 1987's Never Let Me Down)

3. China Girl (from 1983's Lets Dance)

4. Fashion (from 1980's Scary Monsters)

5. I'm Afraid Of Americans (from 1997's Earthling)

6. Boys Keep Swinging (from 1979's Lodger)

7. Ashes To Ashes (from 1980's Scary Monsters)

8. Jump They Say (from 1993's Black Tie White Noise)

9. Let's Dance (from 1983's Let's Dance)

Clearly "Anonymous" is a poor, uncultured soul who has no appreciation of art,the symbolism and messages that these songs and videos provide . How anyone can not sit and watch "Loving the Alien" and appreciate the Daliesque artwork and hear the message in the song (a plea for tolerance and greater unity between the faiths fo the world)is really sad. Never mind the gorgeous Jean Baptiste Mondino directed "Never Let Me Down" video which is a beautiful combination of film and choreography performed by some great dancers and Directed by a world famous photographer Thank god for the Bowie videos in the 80's. Clearly "Anonymous" is not a fan of art and doesn't like to have to think too much. I am sure the "Twisted Sister" video from the 80's was more your speed. Easier to follow. If you want to know what "Daliesque" means look it up in google.
